The October 2015 issue of The Great Outdoors (TGO) magazine is now out – a ‘wild Scotland’ special with features from Ed Byrne, Will Renwick, Ronald Turnbull, and Chris Townsend. It’s also my first issue as a feature contributor. My article is all about the Cape Wrath Trail – why it’s special, how to hike it, and why you’ll want to pack a spare pair of socks.

You can find out more about the October 2015 issue of TGO magazine here. It’s available to buy in all good newsagents.

Are you looking for a more in-depth guide to hiking the Cape Wrath Trail? The best resource online today is this excellent planning guide from Outdoors Father, including crucial details on logistics, river crossings, alternative routes, and more. Get your copy here.
