Walk2017 – images from April

I added a few extra miles to my tally this month, and a vintage manual telephoto lens to my gear load. Here are a few images from miles 308-430.

An anthropocene landscape
Meeting the locals
The Gunby parkland continues to inspire, although I’m finding it more and more difficult to find meaningful images here – familiarity breeds contempt, perhaps
A simple pastoral scene of texture and light
Probably my top non-street image from this month. I have been trying to photograph this tree for years now but never quite found the right composition. This is the one I’m happiest with so far
